An updated servers.dat file has been released. It updates all of your favourite network and server lists. Be sure to download it and try it out. Simply drop the servers.dat file into your Bersirc folder.

All bets are off! No one reached the reserve on Bersirc so the code remains firmly in my hands. For more information check out MUTU's recent article on www.irc-resource.com.

MUTU has written an article about the Bersirc Auction on his website www.irc-resource.com. Support MUTU and his website because he has been a constant source of information on Bersirc to the IRC community and a good friend of mine.

I have decided to auction the full source to Bersirc on ebay. You can view the auction here.

If the reserve is not met, I will continue working on bersirc at my current pace. If it is met, the new author will inform you of what is to happen :) This is a very good thing for the development of Bersirc - not a bad thing.

The Bersirc 2/dev series source has been copied to my new machine and work has resumed. There will be no more 1.x releases and no public beta of 2.0. Stay tuned for a release in early 2003. It is good to be back!
